A project like this is only possible in close cooperation with a lot of different parties, each with their own specialty. In addition to the work of the architect and interior designer we had to ensure that the commercial objectives of the museum shop could be achieved while maintaining the aesthetic principles. We had the aim to take care for an optimal way of product presentation that can be maintained by the employees themselves.

eyeAm the project

The Mauritshuis museum asked to develop a store presentation concept with furniture that would help them to highlight their unique pieces and at the same time would be able to given them the opportunity to sell a lot of volume.

We started by creating new product presentation groups. Downsized and brought focus to the assortment and we chose to present the custom made items in a more museum like presentation to give the products the special attention it needed. The volume range had to be presented elegantly in line with the esthetic principles, so by working with transparency and layers we created an atmosphere that also matched the interior set up done by the architect.
